Ice Pop Cool Down & Water Safety Tips, 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Lake Reidsville. Kids of all ages are invited to “cool down” while learning about water safety at the lake. Sponsored by the Reidsville Police Department.

Tuesday, July 10: Reidsville City Council Meeting, 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at Reidsville City Hall. Among the recognitions will be retired HR Director Terri Stamey Rivers, the Reidsville Luckies (8 and Under and 10 and Under baseball teams) and the Junior Police Academy graduates.

Wednesday, July 11: Red Cross Blood Drive at Fire Station #1, 402 South Scales Street, 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Come out and give the gift of life! Make an appointment by calling 336-347-2329 or emailing jfarmer@reidsvillenc.gov. or you can just walk in!

Thursday, July 12: “Reside in Reidsville” event for new residents (or those thinking about moving here!), 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Lake Reidsville. Several of our City departments, along with area organizations, will be giving these new residents info about their new home!

Friday, July 13: Reidsville Downtown Cruise-In, 6-9 p.m. Enjoy the classic cars while you socialize and enjoy the downtown eateries and shops!

Saturday, July 14: Farmers Market, 7 a.m.-1 p.m., Market Square in downtown Reidsville. Come get some fresh veggies, baked goods and more!

Saturday, July 14
: Night Catfish Tournament @ Lake Reidsville, 6 p.m.-1 a.m. Cost is $10 per person for all ages. Call the lake at 336-349-4738 for more details.

Saturday, July 14: Movies @ the Square featuring “Elf”, starting around 8 p.m./dusk. Who doesn’t love a Christmas movie in July? Bring your chair!
